Step 1

Install & sign in

Download the panel

Grab the installer from the download page — free, no invite needed. Windows + Premiere Pro 2024 or newer.

First time with Premiere Pro? Make sure the Creative Cloud desktop app is installed too — extension installers need it to detect your Adobe apps, and fresh Premiere installs don't always include it.

Install the ZXP

Open the downloaded file with anastasiy's Extension Manager (free, our recommendation — handles current Premiere versions most reliably), then restart Premiere Pro. The aescripts ZXP Installer works too.

Open PrimCut

In Premiere: Window → Extensions → PrimCut. Dock it wherever you like.

Sign in

Hit Sign in with Browser in the panel — log in with the same account you use on primcut.app (Google or email & password), and the panel links automatically.

Step 2 · Bring your own keys

Connect your AI keys

PrimCut is BYOK — your keys, your data, no AI markup from us. Most tools work with zero setup (Silence Cutter, Captions, B-Roll, SFX, Assets and more run out of the box). You only need the keys below for PrimCut Director and the Podcast Editor, and only for the engines you actually use. Paste keys in the panel under Settings → API Keys — they're stored on your machine and sent only to the provider they belong to.
